Our Dog

Today we are so thankful for our dog Lucy Lou!
She is one years old today 11-11-11!

We know it may sound weird to some but we are so grateful to have her in our home.

We absolutely love our little dog!

Today she kept us laughing all day.

She knows us and all of our idiosyncrasies and tries so hard to make us smile.

We are so grateful for the energy, love, and companionship she give both of us. 

 Pets can be such a blessing in our lives!

Flowers!

I have always LOVED flowers.

There is such a happy feeling in your home when flowers are present.

Well, today Shay surprised me and brought me home a dozen roses

--just because! :-)

Being Thankful

I've decided I am going to try to be more "thankful" this year.  I have been so blessed throughout my life I feel I need to express it more often!

So here goes:

Today I am EXTREMELY thankful to have such an amazing husband.

I don't deserve him......seriously, I don't! I am not putting myself down, looking for comments, etc. I am just simply stating the truth.

Shay has been so patient, steady, loving, sincere, helpful, and giving to me since day one. Not only that, he has been my best friend. I thank my Father in Heaven every day for letting me have such a man in my life. There were numerous miracles that happened in both of our lives that allowed us to met and I so thankful for those miracles.

Life hasn't been the same since we've met.....it has been so much better than I could have imagined!
